High Value D₂O

South Korea's dependency on foreign sources for D₂O has been a long-standing issue, but at S-CHEM, we are breaking free from these conventional shackles. Our bold strategy of locally refining D₂O will create new opportunities for us to prosper independently, changing the landscape of the deuterium industry in our nation.

The use of D₂O in various industrial processes can often seem excessive due to the complex nature of these reactions. We at S-CHEM are endeavoring to address this issue head-on, through the development of optimized techniques that increase the yield of these processes without compromising on the quality or safety standards.

The disposal of partially used D₂O, containing 70-90% of deuterium, has been a standard practice in the industry. However, recognizing this as a substantial wastage of a precious resource, S-CHEM has embarked on the journey to develop ground breaking re-enrichment techniques that not only minimize wastage but also optimize the deuterium content.
